Trump remarks stupid says British premier
(MENAFN- Arab News) LONDON: Remarks by US presidential hopeful Donald Trump on Muslims were 'divisive stupid and wrong' British Prime Minister David Cameron told Parliament on Wednesday.
'I think his remarks are divisive stupid and wrong and I think if he came to visit our country he would unite us all against him' Cameron said when asked whether he supported a petition to ban Trump from entering Britain.
Trump has vowed to ban all Muslims from entering the US if he succeeds in his bid to become the next US president.
Nobel prize winner Malala Yousafzai condemned Trump's anti-Muslim views at a somber ceremony to remember the 134 children killed in a Taliban attack on a Pakistani school a year ago.
'Well that's really tragic that you hear these comments which are full of hatred full of this ideology of being discriminative toward others' Malala said.
Republican leader loses fight
against wind farm
Donald Trump lost a legal bid Wednesday to stop a planned wind farm near his golf resort in Scotland with his company calling the ruling 'small-minded and parochial.'
Trump has fought the Scottish government's decision to grant planning permission to the 11 turbine development since 2013.
Britain's Supreme Court judges in London dismissed the appeal of the Republican frontrunner who had already lost previous challenges in the Scottish courts.
A spokesman for the Trump Organization called the verdict 'extremely unfortunate' and said the wind farm would 'completely destroy the bucolic Aberdeen Bay.'
'History will judge those involved unfavorably and the outcome demonstrates the foolish small-minded and parochial mentality' the spokesman said.
