Coronavirus claims 5 more lives in Netherlands, total come close to 6000


(MENAFN) On Thursday, the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) revealed that the merciless coronavirus infection claimed 5 more lives in the Netherlands during the 24-hour period, taking the national death toll to 5,967.

According to Sunday's and Monday's tallies of COVID-19 related fatalities of 6 and 5, respectively, the daily surge in the number of the pandemic's victims seemed to stayed stable for a couple of days.

So far, the overall tally of patients who have been diagnosed with the COVID-19 across the Northwestern European nation has totaled 46,647 after 102 more cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
