(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MoTC) on Tuesday urged citizens and residents not to deface/sabotage road signboards.
It has said that those caught in such acts will be fined up to RO500.
In a post on its Twitter account, Ministry of Transport and Communications said, 'We urge everyone not to deface or sabotage road signboards. They have been set up to guide motorists.
'Those responsible for defacing/sabotaging signboards will be fined up to RO500 as stated in the fines and penalties list according to the roads and facilities protection regulation which was issued by the Ministerial Decision No 155/2017.'
