EU set to offer package to defend Iran's interest from nuclear accord


(MENAFN) European countries are set to propose a package to shield Iran's interest from the 2015 nuclear accord, as reportedly revealed an Iranian senior foreign ministry official.

Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated "three European countries and the EU have pledged to propose a package of practical solutions to secure Iran's interests in the deal."

The statement has been made by the deputy foreign minister, who is also the senior Iranian nuclear negotiator, during a meeting in Tehran, as reported IRNA.

Araqchi also added that "we are waiting and hope to receive the package by the end of this month."
