2018 World Cup: Neymar returns to training for Brazil after ankle injury

(MENAFN) Brazilian forward Neymar was confirmed to have returned to training for his national squad on Wednesday after his ankle was injured a day before.

The injury has raised alarm over being ruled out for Brazil's second World Cup Group E match with Costa Rica on Friday.

Neymar has recorded a video and posted it on the Twitter account of the Brazilian soccer federation, showing him taking a full part in a training match and showing no ill-effects of the foot injury.

"Neymar's working in the training session in Sochi on Wednesday! Preparation continues for the second round of the World Cup," the caption of the video said.
