(MENAFN) The police declared that over seven mourners have died as at least another ten were wounded in a deadly road crash in Nakuru County.
Nakuru County police commander Hassan Barua confirmed that the fatalities were going to Nakuru from a burial ceremony of their relatives when the collision took place.
Barua added: "Two people died on the spot while five others died on arrival in hospital. Initial investigations revealed that a tyre burst caused the vehicle to roll several times,".
The minibus (matatu) carried 16 passengers and was heading to Nakuru when the accident took place.
