Tennis icon Federer returns to world's No. 1: ATP ranking

(MENAFN) Swiss tennis icon Roger Federer has bounced back to become the world number one on the latest ATP rankings released on Monday.

The tennis legend is back to being number one for the record 310th week after winning his 98th tour-level title of career in the Stuttgart Open beating Milos Raonic of Canada in the final.

Federer has been making his return in grass season after missing out on the clay season for the purpose of resting.

Spanish Rafael Nadal has dropped down from number one after sitting out last week after his 11th French Open title earlier this month.
