Aziz Aliyev has been appointed Consul General of Uzbekistan in Bangkok (Thailand), the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry announced May 25.
At the same time, Aliyev will act as the representative of Uzbekistan to the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).
Earlier, Aziz Aliyev worked as Head of Department for the UN and International Organizations' Affairs under Foreign Ministry.
