Dr. Rashmi Jain is an established nephrologist currently serving patients in her private practice in Burlingame, California, and at the Mills Peninsula Hospital in Burlingame. Dr. Jain's career in medicine began in 1983, when she graduated with medical degree from Aligarh University School of Medicine in India. Upon relocating to the United States, she completed internship at St. Joseph Hospital of Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Thereafter, Dr. Jain did residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center of Greater Miami in Florida, followed by fellowship at Rutgers University School of Medicine in New Jersey.
Dr. Jain is board certified in Internal Medicine & Nephrology. She stays current in her field by being an active member of American Society of Nephrology, Renal Physicians Association, National Kidney Foundation, American College of Physicians, and American Medical Association. She served as a faculty member at the University of Illinois for 3 years. She chaired Fistula First Subcommittee at ESRD Network. She was featured on a TV show 'Second Opinion' regarding chronic kidney diseases.
Dr. Jain has dedicated her life to providing high quality and compassionate care to her patients.She attributes her success to her love, devotion and passion for nephrology and medicine. Most of her patients have been with her for a long time. In her free time, Dr. Jain enjoys spending time with her family and friends, listening to music, and cooking.
