After winning the silver medal at the Commonwealth Games, Kidambi Srikanth revealed that he wanted to imbibe the ability of MS Dhoni to remain calm and composed in pressure situations.
Dhoni responded kindly to Kidambi Srikanth's comments and sent him a special gift, an autographed bat.
India's chief selector MSK Prasad personally delivered this gift to Srikanth, in Hyderabad, on Dhoni's behalf.

"Srikanth is the son of my childhood idol...Srikanth is a big fan of Dhoni. One day, he had asked if he could get a gift from Dhoni. I told him if he can reach the top level...then he will get his gift," MSK Prasad said.
