Scotland court acquits man from hitting Michelle McManus
(MENAFN) A man, who has claimed responsibility for hitting Scottish singer Michelle McManus with a guitar case, is set to stand before court later on this year.
Derek McArthur, aged 43, has allegedly struck an ex- pop star and TV host with the music case at the Linen Bar on Pollokshaws Road.
Court document revealed that the man, aged 37"did strike her on the head with a guitar case or similar implement, to her injury".
McArthur, from Shawlands, has been acquitted through a lawyer's letter as a trial was due at Glasgow's Justice of the Peace Court.
