Pakistani police on probes over 'honor murder'victim


(MENAFN) Pakistani police have exhumed the corpse of a an Italian woman, whom is suspect to have been murdered by relatives in an alleged honor killing.

Sana Cheema, aged 26, has died during her visit to her family in Gujrat, where she was buried without an examination.

Her family claims she has died of an unidentified disease, however, accusations were raised that she was killed for intending to marry against her family's acceptance.

Police have filed a lawsuit against her father, brother and uncle.
