Saudi strikes Yemen's int'l airport

(MENAFN) International airport and al-Dailami air base in Yemen's capital city have been hit by Saudi warplanes as Saudi pushes ahead with its aggression against its neighbor.

Saudi warplanes have bombed the Sana'a International Airport and al-Dailami air base in Sana'a, which are located in a neighborhood, Yemen Extra reported.

Yemen has been racked by violence since 2014, when Houthi rebels overran much of the country. The conflict escalated in 2015 when Saudi Arabia and its allies launched a devastating air campaign aimed at rolling back Houthi gains.

The Yemeni Ministry of Human Rights announced in a statement on March 25 that the Saudi-led war had left 600,000 civilians dead and injured during the past three years.
