(MENAFN) Indian police declared that two militants have died in the clashes with police and army troopers,which lasted for a night in unrest Kashmir.
The battle occurred at Shistargam area of Dooru village in Anantnag province,nearly 83 km south of Srinagar city.
A police spokesman declared that "in an overnight gunfight in Dooru, two militants were killed in a fierce gunfight with contingents of police and army,"
He also added that "The joint contingents cordoned off the area following information about presence of militants."
