After Oracle, Lancaster's most famous success was with a company he joined as the 19th employee and led from a small Silicon on the Prairie, i.e. Dallas, Texas supply chain and logistics software company, to a billion in sales without any venture money. Faster than Oracle or Microsoft to $1 billion, or a few million to $1.8 billion in justsix years, i2 Technologies became the number one logistics and SCM software company in the world and later was bought out by JDA Software.
