(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The Dubai Municipality on Sunday warned parents not to buy slime toys for their children due to the presence of harmful substances in them.
The Public Health & Safety Department of Dubai Municipality warned parents to keep their children away from the slime toys due to the use of borax, washing powder, glue and coloured materials in the preparation of such toys. These substances can make children ill.
Buying the toy from unknown establishments that do not adhere to any health and safety standards is dangerous, the municipality warned.
The municipality appealed to individuals and institutions to report and contact them directly for everything related to the safety of consumer products at 800900.
