Afghan Army takes in 528 newly graduated officers
(MENAFN) Afghan National Army (ANA) have welcomed 528 officers who recently graduated, with nine women among them.
During his speech at the distribution certificate ceremony, Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani declared the newly graduated officers to have been commissioned to the national army.
The President stated "graduation of young officers and their commission to the national army to serve the nation increases the optimism among Afghans for winning the war, achieving lasting peace and better future."
The Marshal Fahim National Defense University has had over 3,000 military students trained in it in the past five years.
