Afghanistan: 22 troopers die amid Taliban attack


(MENAFN) Local sources declared the death of over 22 Afghan military troopers amid a tragic Taliban violence on a military camp in western Farah district.

An official reported that the military managed to shot many militants dead as well as injure some, yet the death toll is not clear for the militants moved the fatalities.

He added that the additional forces rushed to the area after the attack.

The militants' attempts of taking control over the city and beyond failed, as their attacks were blocked and pushed against the provincial capital Farah in the previous months by the Afghan military and police.
