France to tackle radicalization in establishing isolated jail places

(MENAFN) France has declared its designs for 1,500 isolated cells to be established solely for extremist prisoners after it was struck with Takfiri terrorism attacks.

Prime Minister Edouard Philippe has declared his national plan to tackle radicalization, with setting up the extra isolated jail places among his strategies.

While presenting his plan, the prime minister emphasized "radicalization is a menace for our society," he then declared "this is a plan of mobilization... It's a battle the state alone cannot fight."

"No one has a magic formula for 'deradicalisation' as if you could de-install dangerous software" Prime Minister Philippe noted as he added "but in France and elsewhere there are good approaches to prevention and disengagement."
