He said that he was however not in a position to comment on the changes expected to take place.

When asked if he will be the new Law and Order Minister, Rajitha Senaratne said that there is law and order in the country.

Asked if he will not hold the Health Minister post in the cabinet reshuffle, Senaratne said that decision will be in the hands of the President.

The cabinet reshuffle was earlier expected to take place last week but it was later reported it will take place this week.

Reports also circulated that the delay to go ahead with a cabinet reshuffle was a disagreement on some cabinet posts between President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. (Colombo Gazette)
