Dubai-Sharjah Traffic: Lane On Emirates Road To Be Closed Effective February 19

The UAE's Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure has announced that the lane from Dubai towards Sharjah on Emirates Road at Bridge No. (7) will be closed, effective Thursday, February 19.

To explain the decision, the ministry said that the closure is part of development works in the Emirates Road enhancement works.

The authority called on motorists to use alternative routes to avoid any impact on their commute. They are also urged to adhere to traffic instructions and safety regulations to ensure smooth traffic flow and the safety of all road users.

Earlier in February, the ministry said that the main road at the Al Badi intersection towards Dubai (Emirates Road) will be closed. In addition, the distribution road will also be closed, and traffic will be diverted to Al Hooshi Bridge on Maliha Road – Westbound.
