(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Feb 19 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Ministry of Interior Undersecretary Gen. Mahmoud Al-Doseri Monday underlined deep relations with Iraq, and called for boosting security cooperation.
Al-Doseri made remarks during a meeting with Iraq's Ambassador to Kuwait Alaa Al-Hashemi, during which they discussed security issues, the MoI said in a statement.
The two officials also discussed Kuwait's humanitarian role in the region, the latest was hosting a conference for the reconstruction of Iraq.
Al-Hashemi thanked Kuwait leadership and people for their support of his country, said the statement. (end) ns.bs
