(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DUBAI, Feb 10 (KUNA) -- Rashed Al-Dawwas and Yusuf Al-Abdulrazzaq, of Kuwait, won the 1st and 3rd positions respectively, in the Third Heat of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Jet Ski GP4 and GP1 categories' championship, which concluded in Sharjah on Friday.
Al-Dawwas, in a statement to KUNA following the race, said he was extremely happy to have won the GP4 category and boost his general standing.
He said seeing the flag of Kuwait hoisted on the pole was the real victory for the Kuwaiti racers.
Al-Dawwas said Al-Abdulrazzaq won the third position in the GP1 race because he participated in the jet ski he used for practice. His main bike was not ready for the race.
He said the Fourth Heat would be held in Abu Dhabi in a week time.
The UAE Jet Ski 2018 championship consists of seven Heats. The first heat was held a month ago and the final one will be held beginning of April. (end) smr.bs
