Riyadh, Rabi'II 02, 1439, December 20, 2017, SPA -- President of the Republic of Yemen Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi received at his residence in Riyadh today the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the Republic of Yemen, political, security and humanitarian developments and issues of mutual interest.
The Yemeni president praised the support provided by the GCC countries to Yemen, noting the positions of the countries of the Arab alliance led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in support of Yemen to stop the Iranian interference in Yemen and in the countries of the region.
For his part, the Secretary General expressed his support for the efforts exerted by the Yemeni president and the Yemeni government to restore legitimacy, stop bloodshed and restore security and stability to Yemen.
