(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Ministry of Commerce and Industry(MoCI) has denied social media rumours about the presence of water in domestic gas cylinders. In a statement issued on its Twitter account, MoCI stated that the liquid present inside the cylinder is not water but dangerous gases in liquid form.
The ministry's Directorate General for Standards and Metrology (DGSM) said that the chemical composition of this cold liquid is propane and butane. 'DGSM urges people to be careful in handling of these gas cylinders.'
