Pakistan- Waziristan administration halts funds of Darmankhel tribe under FCR
(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) WANA: The political administration of South Waziristan Agency on Thursday stopped all funds of Darmankhel tribe under Frontier Crimes Regulation following a bomb blast that had taken place few days ago.
Political Agent Zafarul Islam said that salaries of Khasadar force from Darmankhel tribe would not be paid apart from closing work on all uplift projects in the area.
Besides, official work on files belonging to the tribesmen has also been stopped under collective responsibility clause of the colonial era law.
The step was taken after a bomb blast took place few days back claiming life of head of peace committee Wali Jan and four others while two persons had injured.
