Actor Shahid Kapoor has topped the list of '50 Sexiest Asian Men 2017' for the first time, which has been carried out by a London-based magazine, Eastern Eye.
Shahid has dethroned One Direction vocalist, Zayn Malik, who has been winning this honor for the last two years, consecutively.

Last year, Shahid secured the seventh position in the list of Eastern Eye's sexiest Asian man but this time he has outplayed himself and bagged the first position.
Shahid is closely followed by Hrithik Roshan, Zayn Malik and television actor, Vivian Dsena.
Recently, actress Priyanka also topped the list of '50 Sexiest Asian Women 2017'. This was her fifth time on the top spot.
Shahid's upcoming projects
Films
Shahid is playing a larger-than-life character of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh, in the much controversial film 'Padmavati'. It is, however, dubious whether the film would see the day of light anytime soon.
Other than that, he is gearing up for his next big project 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' in which he would play a lawyer alongside Ileana D'cruz.
