Mogherini: European Union respects International Consensus on Jerusalem and There is no Alternative to Two State Solution

Brussels, Rabi'I 25, 1439 H., December 13, 2017, SPA -- The EU's Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini stressed that there is no alternative to a two-state solution, indicating that EU will continue to respect the international consensus on Jerusalem (Al-Quds) and will not recognize it as Israel's capital until final peace agreement is agreed.
During a public debate session for European Parliament members today in Brussels, Mogherini said that this was confirmed earlier this week when the 28 EU foreign ministers met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Brussels.
