Pakistan- 'Go FCR Go' cricket tournament starts in Bajaur


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) KHAR: Cricket players in Bajaur Agency on Tuesday started 'Go FCR Go' cricket tournament to express their disappointment over government's delaying tactics to implement Fata Reforms.

The tournament was organised under the aegis of All Fata Students Forum in Khar, headquarters of Bajaur Agency where teams from across the agency would participate.

Ahmad XI defeated Faroq XI in its first match that was played at Utmankhel cricket ground where a large number of spectators came to watch the match. The spectators, after the match, chanted slogans against the government and demanded to abolish FCR and bring Fata into mainstream.

"Time has come to give us our constitutional rights," said Muhammad Azam, a spectator.
