Hariri back in Lebanon for Independence Day
(MENAFN) Recently resigned Prime Minister of Lebanon Saad Hariri has returned back home for Independence Day ceremonies after spending two weeks touring in Saudi Arabia and France lately.
Hariri's extended stay in Saudi Arabia proved even more mysterious for many and sparked accusations that he was being held hostage in the kingdom as he resigned November 4 in Riyadh, shocking Lebanese people and the world.
He denied claims he was being detained, and promised to return to Lebanon in time to join Wednesday's celebrations for Independence Day.
