Head of Saudi sports authority elected pres. of ISSF

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, Nov 20 (KUNA) - The general assembly of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF) has named chairman of the Saudi General Sports Authority Turki Al-Sheikh as a ISSF president for four-year term.
Al-Sheikh won the post uncontested during the tenth assembly of ISSF in Riyadh Monday evening. The assembly also chose Mohammed Al-Qarnas as secretary general.
It has also approved the Turkish city of Istanbul's bid to host the fifth edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games of 2021. (end) od.ibi
