Qatar- QIBA participates in Souq NAMA

Qatar International Beauty Academy (QIBA) recently participated in Souq Nama Exhibition at Doha Festival City.
Souq Nama Exhibition included 34 sections in different sectors such as beauty, food, fashion, and also there are separate sections for creative individuals such as photographers, painters, and other artists. QIBA participation came within the framework of achieving its goals of introducing its beauty services and to make it easier to market their training courses. During the participation, QIBA Tajmeel team offered makeup tutorials and hair dressings sessions, in collaboration with their students. It also provided skin care advice & free facials, free makeup sessions, showing people how they can make a difference.
Speaking to The Peninsula, Beverley Crowther, Principal at QIBA, said: 'It is our pleasure to welcome people at Tajmeel. It is Qatar's first vocational training centre to offer internationally certified hair and beauty therapy qualifications, with a main objective is to transfer knowledge, expertise and professionalism to the local community and establish employees of the industry in order to provide quality education in spa, hair, beauty and its associated fields She added: 'With many achievements since its opening in 2009, with over 2,000 graduates in total and continued professional and educational development, Tajmeel Academy has become a major force in the beauty and hair industry in Qatar.
QIBA, Tajmeel was founded in 2009 by NAMA, one of the leading development institutions in Qatar, which has the mission to empower youth and expand their opportunities, by providing training courses of the highest quality within the beauty industry.
Rayan Hawari, makeup artist at QIBA, said, 'We feel happy about our participation because it helps us to achieve our vision by giving Qatari people the idea of what we are doing at QIBA. It also lets them know how Nama Center is giving a big opportunity for youth in the community, by offering training courses for makeup and hair dressings
She also said that DFC Mall is a good place for meeting people and to share sessions with people who are interested in beauty. 'However, beauty is an important issue nowadays, as people need makeup and hair dressings for several sections such as cinema, TV and News shows, and special occasions and celebrations.
