Every day the world's strength goes up, man's brain causes the new changes in science, education, politics, sports, and cinema. The development of the world is the mindset of every human being and the use of knowledge. In short, growth and development are the roots of man.
Our people have made significant contributions as compared to those experts from far and wide. The role of Indians, whether rich or poor, in every field is enormous. The reason is the dedicated parents and their sons who realised the dedication.
The tiny village, Chinnathura, along the coast of the Arabian Sea has a young man Justin Antony, won a series of prestigious and coveted laurels, a zealous, zestful and fiery youth, who grew to be the present stalwart stature of a self-willed, self-styled and self-made man with an amazingly scintillatingly and inimitable record on whom his fellow mates looked with awe and envy. Another feather in his cap is his recent selection to the UN International Youth Council.
Justin Antony comes out with a new concept, National Knowledge Olympiad (NKO) with the scope of testing the general knowledge of the students in a wider circle.
The wide ranging subjects he dealt with, in depth out of his sheer conviction and vast exposure at this tender age reveals his erudite scholarship and intangible exposure. No doubt, he has successfully and very adeptly structured the concept which is an everlasting embodiment of his own fascinating international experience in quizzing.
Sports Olympics encouraged Justin to name it National Knowledge Olympiad. As per the new concept, there are a series of 2 preliminary tests, objective type. Of the several lots appeared, the first 5 teams are chosen for the NKO. There are 2 students per team during the preliminary; and the real toughness starts during the main event at the stage. There are ten students per team; each round shall be represented by 2 students. For example, the round Basic Science shall be represented by students A and B. The same students cannot represent another round, but A & C, or A & D, and the like can. Likewise, there are ten rounds. Every student will get a fair chance to express their knowledge.
Justin Antony has explained this new concept to the UNESCO in New Delhi. 'I feel very happy for having been given an opportunity to explain to the UNESCO officials who appreciated my efforts and encouraged , says Justin.
Justin has conducted quiz from the district to the international levels. His quiz for the international schools in connection with the UN International Day held at Qatar is a well-remembered one. He recalls the moral support of the Kanyakumari district administration starting from Ramesh Chand Meena, Vishwanath Shegaonkar, Sunil Paliwal, Pandian, Gagandeep Sing Bedi, Rajendra Ratnoo, Jyothi Nirmala, Nagarajan, Sajjan Singh Chavan; and former Vice Chancellor Dr Ignaci Muthu.
If this be so inspiring and enthralling, how about the best that is yet to flow from him. It forms a strong base and pad for his future meteoric rise which will transcend and challenge even the height of the sky.
