Kuwait- Wife fined KD 1,000 for sending abusive messages to husband

(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Sept 26: The Misdemeanor Court ordered a Kuwaiti woman to pay fine worth KD 1,000 for sending abusive and humiliating messages through Whatsapp application to her husband. The court referred the civil lawsuit to the concerned civil court. The Public Prosecution had charged the woman of misusing mobile phone based on article 1 of law No. 9/2001. The counsel to the husband Lawyer Abdulmohsen Al-Qattan affirmed the availability of incriminating evidence against his client's wife as well as her confession to the charges.
