Saudi Air Defense Force intercept missile from Yemen


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, Sept 23 (KUNA) -- The Royal Saudi Air Defence (RSADF) shot down a ballistic missile fired from the Yemeni territories into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Saturday evening.

The incident took place at 10:00 pm., local time (7:00 pm. GTM), spokesman of the Saudi-led coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen Col. Staff Turki Al-Malki said The acquisition of ballistic missiles by terrorist organizations in Yemen, including the Houthi militia, poses a grave threat to regional and international security, he noted.
