Net oil revenue in Oman jumps by 43pct to OMR2.56bn

(MENAFN) Oman government's net oil revenues jumped to 43 percent to OMR2.56bn for the Jan-July period of this year, against OMR1.794.1mn for the same period of 2016.
Meanwhile, the Sultanate produced 235.33mn barrels of crude oil and condensates in the cited period of the year, against 244.79mn barrels amid the same period of 2016.
Additionally, revenues from natural gas grew by 6.9 percent to OMR832.6mn amid the period, against OMR778.9mn in 2016.
However, corporate income tax revenue fell 7.3 percent to OMR307.4mn amid the period, whereas income from customs duty dropped to OMR117.4mn.
