Qatar Chamber for Commerce meets Saudi delegation


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar Chamber for Commerce and Industry reviewed with a Saudi delegation a number of investment opportunities.
According to a statement issued by Qatar Chamber yesterday, a delegation from Nama Al Jouf Development and Commercial Investment company of Al Jouf Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Saudi Arabia visited the headquarters of Qatar Chamber to review investment opportunities in the region and discuss Qatari partnerships in a number of projects which the company is intending to implement.
Board Member of Qatar Chamber Mohamed bin Ahmed al-Obaidli urged Qatari businessmen and investors to study the investment opportunities presented by the Saudi delegation during the visit, praising the depth of Qatari-Saudi relations at all levels, mainly in the economic field which has witnessed a growth of nearly 4.9% since 2011.
Chairman and board member of Nama Al Jouf Mohamed Abdulrahman al-Muaishier gave a presentation in which he reviewed a number of pilot studies for the available investment opportunities in the region, noting that Al Jouf region is strategically located as a border area of the Kingdom.
He added that the region has a modern port which is one of the largest and most important land ports in the Middle East, and is an important logistics platform for the markets of Asia, Africa and Europe.
Al Jouf is also considered the northern gate of the Kingdom that ensures easy access to the GCC markets, as well as Jordan, Syria, Turkey and Iraq.
