Kuwait- Panel to probe files tied to drugs, massage centers, illegal cafés - Move to register driver position under commercial activity

KUWAIT CITY, March 25: Chairman of the Negative Phenomena Committee MP Mohammad Al-Hayef declared that the committee will start discussing several files which are under the responsibility of Ministry of Interior, Reports Al-Anba daily.

He revealed that the committee will investigate files related to drugs, massage centers and illegal cafés. Meanwhile, Al-Hayef indicated the possibility of cancelling fines of Syrian residents in Kuwait.

Meanwhile, Deputy Director- General of a sector in Public Authority for Manpower Ahmad Al-Mousa has issued an administrative circular which obliges all concerned labor departments to register driver position under commercial activity provided the drivers have valid Kuwaiti driving license, reports Al-Anba daily quoting informed sources.

Meanwhile, the authority declared that they will start receiving employers registered under the authority to add mobile numbers to the data in the authority inorder to facilitate communication with companies and employers.
