ABU DHABI, 24th October, 2016 (WAM) -- The Ministry of Federal National Council Affairs has organised a workshop themed, "Corporate Happiness and Happy Employees", as part of its efforts to promote the concept of corporate happiness and positivity among employees.
Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs, said, "Happiness and positivity in the workplace are the cornerstone of the Ministry's strategy and a catalyst for it to achieve its objectives. These goals require teamwork and innovation to come up with ideas and initiatives that enable the Ministry to carry out its responsibilities that stand to benefit all citizens, as well as society as a whole."
She went on to explain that the ministry is implementing the directives of the wise leadership of the UAE to develop the skillsets of the national workforce and provide them with the necessary resources to excel in the workplace, adding that happiness is a key factor in motivating employees to utilise their energy and creativity to play a part in turning the UAE into a global role model in terms of government work.
The workshop was also attended by Dr. Saeed Mohammad Al Ghafli, Assistant Under-Secretary for Federal National Council Affairs in the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs and Sami bin Adi, Assistant Under-Secretary for Support Services Sector as well as heads of departments and employees from the Ministry.
