UAE- Chief of Staff of UAE Armed Forces receives his Egyptian Counterpart

(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) The UAE Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, on Sunday received the Egyptian Chief of Staff, Lt. General Mahmoud Hijazi, who is currently on a visit to the country.
Lt. General Al Rumaithi welcomed his Egyptian counterpart and his accompanying delegation and discussed with him the existing military relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Arab Republic of Egypt, and ways of enhancing them.
During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation between the two countries in the areas of defence affairs and the exchange of experiences, as well as visits and joint coordination.
At the meeting, the two sides emphsised the depth of ties between the two sisterly countries and their joint keenness to strengthen and develop them in the benefit of the peoples of both countries.
