Kuwait- Fake Police Officer Found To Be 'Royal'


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Capital securitymen arrested a ruling family member for impersonating police when he established a checkpoint in Nuzha, reports Al- Seyassah daily. The Operations Room at the Interior Ministry dispatched a team of security officers to the location after receiving information about the incident



The informant also revealed the accused had a flasher installed on his vehicle, making it appear that he is a police officer. During the arrest, the security officers found a bottle of imported liquor in the suspect's vehicle. When he was subjected to an interrogation at Faiha Police Station, the officers realized the suspect was under the influence of alcohol. A case was registered and the necessary legal action was taken against the suspect



Meanwhile, three suspects were nailed and their accomplices managed to escape when security operatives rushed to the scene of shooting at a wedding in Sabah Al- Salem area, reports Al-Seyassah daily. Sources said the police was notified about a group of Kuwait youths firing gunshots in the air at a wedding ceremony and they followed up without delay. Upon arrival, the officers were able to arrest three suspects but the rest of them fled. A case was registered
