Bahrain Intercepts 3 Iranian Missiles, Drones
Amman, June 3 (Petra) - Bahrain said on Wednesday its air defenses intercepted and destroyed three Iranian missiles and several drones, which were fired on civilian targets in the country.
In a statement carried by the official Bahraini News Agency, the General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force said Iran pursued a "systematic hostile approach" targeting civilian objects with missiles and drones. Bahraini forces dealt with the attacks with "high combat readiness" and thwarted them, it added.
The General Command said attacking civilian targets and private property with missiles and drones is a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.
