Jordan Condemns Iran's Attacks On Bahrain, Kuwait
The Foreign Ministry issued a statement describing the strikes as a threat to the security, stability and territorial integrity of Bahrain and Kuwait, as well as a stark breach of international law and the UN Charter.
The ministry affirmed Jordan's absolute solidarity with Bahrain and Kuwait, reiterating the Kingdom's full support for all measures taken by the two nations to protect their sovereignty, security, citizens and residents.
The ministry also expressed its deepest condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Kuwait following the death of one person resulting from the attacks, wishing a speedy recovery to those injured.
Kuwait on Wednesday said Iranian attacks on its territory killed one person and wounded several others, as well as forcing its airport to close and damaging unnamed diplomatic missions, according to AFP.
Kuwait said Iran hit a passenger terminal at its international airport on Wednesday, wounding several people and forcing air traffic to be suspended, while Bahrain and the United States said they had intercepted an Iranian attack on Bahrain.
