Ukrainian Forces Strike Ships And Infrastructure In Russia's Kronstadt Port General Staff
“On June 2 and during the night of June 3, 2026, units of Ukraine's Defense Forces carried out strikes against a number of important targets of the Russian invaders,” the statement said.
Among the targets hit was the St. Petersburg Oil Terminal (St. Petersburg, Leningrad region, Russian Federation). The strike was confirmed, followed by a fire on the terminal's premises.
“The oil terminal is one of the largest petroleum transshipment complexes in the Baltic region and plays a key role in supporting the export and logistics of fuel resources of the Russian Federation. Its annual throughput capacity is 10 million tons. The facility is involved in supplying the needs of the aggressor state's military formations,” the General Staff noted.
In addition, according to preliminary information, ships and infrastructure facilities in the port of Kronstadt were hit. The extent of the damage is being clarified.
The Michurinsk Progress Plant, a manufacturer of components for precision-guided weapons (Michurinsk, Tambov region, Russian Federation), was also struck. A fire was recorded on the plant's premises. The scale of the damage is being assessed.
“The enterprise specializes in producing instruments for control systems used in Russian aircraft and missile technology, including gyroscopic stabilization devices, autopilots, navigation course indicators, and other elements of flight-navigation systems employed in the Russian aircraft, missiles, and UAVs,” the General Staff emphasized.
Additionally, the RSBN-4N short-range radio navigation system at the Saky airfield (Novofedorivka, temporarily occupied Crimea) was struck.
Other targets hit included an ammunition and UAV depot in Halytsynivka, Donetsk region; a fuel and lubricants storage facility in Bilolutsk, Luhansk region; and an enemy command and observation post in Selydove, Donetsk region.
As a result of previous strikes, damage inflicted on June 2 to the technological overpass, the AVT crude oil distillation unit, and two RVS-5000 storage tanks at the Ilsky Oil Refinery in Russia's Krasnodar territory has been confirmed.
The General Staff also confirmed the disruption of oil pumping operations at the Zenzevatka oil pumping station in Russia's Volgograd region following a strike on June 2.
Furthermore, following a strike on May 30 against the Prymorskyi Posad training ground (Prymorskyi Posad, Zaporizhzhia region), the destruction of shelters used by Russian personnel has been confirmed. Russian losses amounted to approximately 30 personnel.
