21 Dead In New Delhi Hotel Fire, Police Fear Death Toll May Rise


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) At least 21 people were reportedly killed in a fire at a New Delhi hotel on Wednesday. Officials said several of those killed are foreigners, mainly from Central Asia and Africa.

Authorities said the fire started at an establishent in Malviya Nagar area at around 8.45am (India time). They are still investigating the cause of the fire.

Further details are awaited but authorities fear that the death toll might rise further as several of those injured are reportedly in critical condition
