Two Dead , 31 Injured As Storms, Strong Winds Batter KP
At least two people were killed and 31 others injured after strong winds, thunderstorms, lightning strikes, and rain-related incidents hit various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA).
The PDMA said the casualties occurred due to collapsing roofs and walls of houses during the severe weather. The deceased were both men, while the injured included 16 men, 7 women, and 8 children.
The incidents were reported from Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, and Bannu districts. Authorities said the PDMA, district administrations, and all relevant departments remain on high alert and are maintaining close coordination to respond to emergencies.

The PDMA has directed local administrations to ensure immediate relief and assistance to affected families.
According to the authority, the current spell of rain and strong winds is expected to continue intermittently until June 5. The PDMA's Emergency Operations Center remains fully operational, and citizens have been advised to report any emergency or seek information by calling the helpline at 1700.
