Ministry Issues Vehicle Fire Prevention Tips For Summer

Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior has released a set of guidelines to prevent vehicle fires, particularly during periods of high temperatures.

The ministry advised motorists to follow a number of precautionary measures to raise awareness and reduce the risk of vehicle fires.

It urged motorists not to leave mobile phones, portable chargers or power banks inside their vehicles.

Motorists should also confirm that there are no lighters, perfumes, sanitizers, and other flammable substances left in their vehicle.

The ministry further warned against making hazardous modifications to vehicle electrical systems.
