Brazil And Lebanon Expand Trade Ties


(MENAFN- Brazil-Arab News Agency (ANBA)) São Paulo – Brazil's exports to and imports from Lebanon posted growth between January and April this year compared to the same period in 2025. According to data from the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services compiled by the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC ), Brazil exported USD 170.8 million to Lebanon in the first four months of the year, up 8.1% from the same period last year.

Imports totaled USD 842,000, up 39.2%. Brazil posted a trade surplus of USD 169.9 million, while total trade volume reached USD 171.6 million.

The leading products exported to Lebanon this year are frozen beef, coffee, cattle, sugar, soybeans, and chicken meat. The main imported products are food manufacturing machinery, aluminum scrap, and preserved fruit.

In April alone, exports totaled USD 54.6 million, up 18.2% from April last year, while imports reached USD 187,000, soaring 1003.4%. Total trade volume for the period stood at USD 54.8 million, with a trade surplus of USD 54.5 million.
