Israeli Drone Strikes Kill 3 In South Lebanon
Beirut, May 15 (Petra)-- Three Lebanese were killed and four others injured in two drone strikes carried out by an Israeli drone on the southern Lebanese town of Harouf on Friday afternoon.
A Lebanese security source told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) correspondent in Beirut that two paramedics were wounded after the Israeli army targeted the vicinity of a hospital in the town of Ahiram, in the Tyre district.
The source added that the town of Jibsheet was hit by two consecutive airstrikes, while artillery shelling targeted the towns of Zawtar al-Sharqiya, Zawtar al-Gharbiya, and the outskirts of Meifdoun and Qaqaiyat al-Jisr.
He further said that Zawtar al-Sharqiya was also struck with phosphorus shells, as two Israeli Apache helicopters were seen flying over the towns of Taybeh and Deir Siryan.
