U.S. And Iran Preparing For In-Person Peace Talks CNN

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to an Ukrinform correspondent, this was stated by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, CN reports.

“There are discussions about in-person talks, but nothing is final until announced by the President or the White House,” Leavitt said.

It is noted that the meeting will most likely take place in Islamabad, with Pakistani mediators in attendance.

“Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff, son-in-law Jared Kushner and Vice President JD Vance are expected to attend,” CNN reports.

According to earlier reports, the United States, Israel, and Iran agreed to a two-week mutual ceasefire and to reopen commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
